The wardrobe belongs in the bedroom, the dining table will be a gathering place again, and the bed should be ready in your new home. We plan disassembly and reassembly as part of your move. Tell us which pieces are coming with you and where you would like them placed.
During the free home survey, we look at how your furniture is built and assess access. We check which pieces should be taken apart for transport and which can travel whole, then plan the tools, time and team accordingly.
You can add furniture assembly to your home move, whether you are changing apartments in Basel or moving into a house in Oberwil. Disassembly, transport and reassembly are then agreed together.

For large, older or particularly delicate furniture, we discuss the right approach with you personally. The construction and condition of each piece guide our assessment, so you know before moving day what assembly work we will carry out.
Carefully prepared
Every part gets our attention.
When taking furniture apart, we keep related components together. Fittings and screws are assigned to their piece of furniture so they are ready for reassembly. Shelves, doors and other furniture parts are prepared for transport.
The protective materials your furniture needs are included free with your TSR move. Our team selects blankets, wrapping and corner protectors to suit the surfaces and secures the parts in the vehicle.
We also plan the route out of your home. If an external furniture lift would be suitable, we assess and arrange its use. You do not need to choose the transport method or equipment yourself.

Disassemble and prepare
We dismantle the agreed furniture, keep small components organised and protect the individual parts for the journey.
Transport
Our team carries and loads the furniture parts. At your new address, we take them straight to their intended rooms.
Reassemble
We assemble the furniture in the agreed place and check the assembly, including how doors and drawers operate.
Check together
Finally, we go through the assembled furniture with you. You can ask our team any questions and start making yourself at home.

You choose what to do yourself.
You may prefer to empty the wardrobes yourself and leave their disassembly to us. If you would also like help wrapping and boxing the contents, we can add our packing service. We coordinate the order of work with you.
For an office move, we discuss disassembly and reassembly of the agreed desks, shelving and other furniture. We do not set up or wire your technology.
Existing assembly instructions are helpful. Feel free to show them to us during the survey. We discuss any other details about construction and reassembly with you while looking at the furniture.

Is assembly included in the moving price?
We agree disassembly and reassembly as additional services. Your quote records which pieces we will take apart and rebuild. The protective materials needed for your TSR move are included free.
Does every piece need to be dismantled for the move?
No. We assess the construction and transport route. Furniture that can suitably travel whole can remain assembled. We discuss the approach during the survey.
Can you assemble just a bed or wardrobe?
Yes. We can agree assembly of individual pieces as part of your move. Tell us which items you would like us to handle and what you prefer to do yourself.
What happens to screws and fittings?
During disassembly, we assign small components to the relevant piece of furniture and keep them together for reassembly. Parts and fittings stay matched.
Do you need assembly instructions?
If you have instructions, please keep them available. They are especially helpful for unusual constructions. During the survey, we clarify what information is needed for your furniture.
Do you assemble electronics or connect appliances?
No. Our service covers the agreed furniture work. We do not provide electronics assembly, electrical installations or appliance connections.
What about unusual or custom-made furniture?
We examine these pieces beforehand. Based on their construction, condition and any specific instructions, we discuss which work is possible. We therefore cannot give a blanket commitment for every piece.
Can you assemble the bed first?
Tell us your preferences during planning. We coordinate the sequence with transport and the other assembly work, and agree what should be ready first.
